We have great news at the start of the new year! As you may know, we have built a laboratory on location to get started with breeding perennials through lab technical work. This includes embryo rescue, chromosome doubling, the use of perennials in tissue culture and the maintenance of our breeding species. However, the lab was a little on the small side in our opinion, which gave us the idea to make an extension that would be at least as big as the lab at the time.
That has now worked! We have built the laboratory this way that the space is now twice as large. There is a storage area for all materials needed while working in the lab, a canteen has been built with a counter and a desk has been added. We have also ordered a few new cultivation carts, so that the storage of the in-vitro plants will be even better.
We are really excited to get started in the double capacity lab!
